If you’re at all interested in facial augmentation through the use of injectables, you may have heard of Facial Harmonization or Full Facial Balancing. This method of bringing balance to your facial features requires a skilled and knowledgeable injector who is willing to communicate and do what is best for your personal features. Today we’ll discuss what it is, what is used, and show some of our favorite results images.

How full facial balancing works

Facial harmonization takes a global approach to the use of injectables like filler, neurotoxins, and PDO threads in the face. Rather than just doing Botox, for example, a combination of treatments may be used to not only address your original concern, but do so without disrupting the total balance of the facial structure. If someone desires very full lips, injecting the lips without adding volume elsewhere may result in an unbalanced appearance to the face. Facial balancing with fillers, neurotoxins, and PDO threads allows for natural, beautiful results that keep your original features in mind.

About the treatments

While no facial harmonization session is the same, your nurse injector may use any combination of fillers, ‘tox, or PDO threads to achieve your desired results. For added volume, our injectors may select from a variety of fillers, like Restylane, Revanesse Versa, and more. For wrinkle prevention or reduction, neurotoxins like Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, and Xeomin may be used. Additionally, PDO threads may be included to improve laxity and boost future collagen production for long-term results. Does Facial Balancing Require Lip Injections?

Not at all! Although lip injections are a common request when clients come in for facial harmonization, the goal is never to load on multiple treatments for the sake of doing so. The goal of facial balancing is to take the entire face structure into consideration and use different treatments to bring more symmetry and balance to the face as a whole. For someone with small lips and a weak jawline, this may include filler in the lips, jaw, and chin. For someone with very full lips, this may mean filler in the cheeks to raise the cheekbones in a way that compliments their full lips. Every facial balancing session will be different depending on your unique face structure and desired outcome.
