Wedding planning often brings dress appointments, caterers, and venue picking to mind. However, there’s a lot that goes into planning the wedding day look as well! If you want to look and feel your best without the stress on your wedding day, we’re here to help you with realistic timelines for pre-wedding injectables treatments so that you know what to expect, and when to expect, with results you’ll love!
What injectables should I get?
This is a question that only you and your injector can answer for you specifically. Generally, these timelines are suggested for those who aren’t brand new to injectables and simply want to get any maintenance out of the way in time to not have to worry about things like bruising or swelling. If you and your injector do decide to try something new, it’s likely they will recommend an additional few weeks for you to adjust to your new look before the big day.
As far as options go, Coco Med Spa offers a variety of injectable options. Botox and other neurotoxins are great for preventing excess movement that can cause expression lines. Dermal filler is another option for enhancing other areas of the face and lips. Each service and particular brand of filler or ‘tox is selected specifically for you and your desired outcome.
What is my timeline for injectables?
For most clients, we recommend that you schedule any maintenance injectable appointments about 4-8 weeks prior to your wedding day. Please be sure to account for things like engagement photos, bridal showers, or bachelorette festivities as well! Together, you and your injector can come up with an appropriate plan while taking into consideration how well you tend to react to injectable services. If you’re prone to extra swelling or bruising, consider adding a little extra time to ensure you feel your absolute best when the wedding bells start ringing!
Don’t forget Aquagold!
While Aquagold isn’t an injectable like filler or Botox, it is a “can’t skip” service before your wedding or any other big event. If you’re looking for a glass skin effect and a glow like you’ve never seen, Aquagold is the answer. This service administers a mega dose of vitamins, minerals, and sometimes even Botox, to the skin through microchannel delivery to make sure your skin is ultra-hydrated, and bright for your special moment. This service should be done about two weeks ahead of the wedding day for the best results.
