When is the best time of year for laser hair removal?
Although the winter months are often recommended as the best time to get laser hair removal, the reality is that it doesn’t matter as much when it is as much as how much sun exposure you’re getting at any given time of year. That being said, people generally get much less sun exposure during winter months even in areas with milder temperatures like St. Pete, which is ideal for laser treatment. This is because of a variety of factors like more indoor gatherings, fewer vacations, and a general predisposition to stay inside during cooler temps. However, if you’re someone who doesn’t tolerate heat well and stays indoors more often than not during warm weather, talk to your laser expert about when the best time to treat is for you.
How much time do I need for laser hair removal treatments?
Every person is different, however, most are recommended to have at least 6 laser hair removal treatments for best results. Additionally, you should completely stay away from excess sun exposure or tanning for at least two weeks before your first treatment, two weeks after your last treatment, and in between sessions as well. Sessions are generally recommended to be about 4-6 weeks apart.
